>US Senator Lindsay Graham just called for Putin's assassination >There was just a live streamed battle at a nuclear power plant (the largest in Europe) and the plant was on fire. The fire has now been put out. Full details on the situation are unclear at the moment. Zelensky just spoke with Biden and Boris Johnson about it. >Multiple websites and internet services are blocked in Russia, including the Apple App Store and Google Play >A convoy of Russian forces is trying to reach the largest nuclear power plant in Europe. Heavy fighting reported. >Telecoms blackout in Sumy Oblast >Peace talks ended, no resolution reached but they agreed on humanitarian corridors >Putin spoke. Said everything is going according to plan. Also claimed a General died. >An amphibious assault on Odessa could be coming soon >Mariupol is isolated but under Ukrainian control. Under heavy shelling. >Russians claim Kherson is under their control. Ukrainian military says it's not, but there is heavy fighting taking place. US officials also deny it's under Russian control and say it's "too soon" to say. >Heavy fighting reported in Kharkiv and Mariupol >Russia is conducting tactical strikes in Kyiev. A TV tower was hit. Another missile missed and hit a Holocaust memorial site. >40 mile long convoy heading towards Kyiev >Putin orders Russian nuclear deterrent forces to be on alert >Gypsies stole a Russian tank >Russian army captured Chernobyl >Melitopol has fallen under Russian hands >Russians forces are in the outskirts of Mariupol. >Russia says Sweden and Finland may face military and political consequences if they attempt to join NATO >Russian websites are currently being cyber attacked
yeah maybe you NEET faggots who have no life and can spend all day refreshing the catalog, some of us need an update of the events of the last few days

Realistically speaking, what is Putin's endgame?
Nukes are probably not going to fly out. Biden and Putin might be stupid but they're not that stupid, and it's also very unlikely that Ukraine's going to surprise us with some epic comeback on its own by forming a spirit bomb from all the European thoughts and prayers. But even when Russia eventually does take over Ukraine and installs their preferred puppets, they'll still have nothing but enemies at their doorstep and an economy that's already getting shittershattered. The invasion only managed to strengthen ties between EU and NATO members, and even countries that were mostly against full membership are now seriously deliberating it. China is ambivalent about Russia and not about to shut them out completely, but they're never going to actually ally with them consider their much stronger trade ties with the rest of the world, plus they have no personal horse in this race and are already managing their competition against the West through economic might or other means of soft power. At best Russia's about to become China's bitch.
At this point I'm willing to believe it's some anime protagonist ploy to bring the rest of the world together by painting yourself as the big villain, then abdicating and ensuring eternal world peace or someshit. How the hell are they benefiting from this situation in any way, even if they do win?
>putin speech did he recently do one? didn't notice desu i can give you all the twitter handles im following atm if you want

>Do you really have such a high amount of foreign students? From what I've seen yes, plenty of them come here because our education is cheap for them. I was studying in a university in Kharkiv up untill New Year for an IT profession, we had a group for foreign students, they also barely attended lessons kek.

I can think of one really quick and easy way to save the russian economy, but I don't think putin will like it very much

As a follow-up, the reason why we didn't is because spoiler alert, in the grand scheme of things the West doesn't care about Ukraine. And no amount of virtue signaling, sanctions or Twitter hashtags will change that reality. We let them down and will not correct course, because we don't care nearly enough. At the end of the day we only care about ourselves and we never did a serious attempt at integrating Ukraine. I'm sorry for the ukrainains caught in this completely unnecessary and ultimately avoidable conflict.
The true Any Forumslack (the actual demonym) has both threads open and is picking through the pictures and footage trying to filter out the recycled Donbass shit from 2014-2019. Any Forumslacks care about the truth more than one side winning. We tend to care more about ourselves being big brained and right in any given discussion than our own pet causes. It is our fatal flaw but key to our culture. The rest of you are paid shills, lost redditors and boomers whose brains have been cooked by too much TV.
Also Ukraine is doneski by Thursday if the US doesn't intervene.
I really doubt it. This isn't some sparsely populated mountainous country with poor roads. 99.99% of vehicles are never going to go missing for more than a few days at most. Maybe bits and pieces of metal will turn up for a long time but you probably won't be able to identify them as coming from the war

Not polonium? I was doing some back reading on Litvinenko (or whatever the spelling), and apparantly the amount of that stuff they used on him cost millions of dollars..
