Russian troops are taking control of Ukraine's key infrastructure, as we saw today with them taking that nuclear power plant.
Ukraine is going to be Putin's. Maybe Ukraine made a bigger show than expected of resisting, but the outcome we all expected is going to happen. Why are America and France and Britain trying to delude their populaces into believing anything else will happen? If the West wanted to stop Russia at this point they'd need to commit their own armies to it. And none of them will, so Ukraine is doomed.

1) He's matured as a dictator. He's figured out all the angles piece. He's seeing the whole map when he strategizes.
2) He's frisky. He's clearly a top 7 to 9 dictator of all time. Might move himself into the Goat discussion if he can take Ukraine and Poland and bring the west to its knees.
3) When Putin does Putin things there's no one better. There's a point in every war during crunch time when you have to make clutch move so you claim victory and he's one of the 13 to 17 guys you'd want in that situation. He just does stuff.
4) Zelensky is a good stats bad team guy. It's easy to look good leading Ukraine.
5) Putin is Larry Bird during his 3 MVP run in the 80s. He's at the peak of his powers.

i think everyone expected russia to win in ukraine. they have more bodies and equipment than ukraine has bullets, even with the stuff sent from nato.
It all sort of boils down to how much losses russia will take in the process. Keep in mind that everything russia has lost so far has been a bunch of really out dated/shitty vehicles. Every dead russian so far definitely seem like they're immigrants, or not full blooded russians, hell theres quite a few that look like chinks.

Ofcourse he will win. That was never a question. The question is how long it takes and how much it ruins the russian economy. The longer it takes, the more sanctions, the heavyer military losses russia takes, the more embarassing it all gets, the worse it is four putin and russia. There already may be no recovering for either. Consider how long it took to take how little land. Russia was hopeing the whole thing would be over in a few days. Instead this could last months or years. Ukraine is a big country and tanks and armyes move slowly. And even after a full military occupation of the country, thanks to all the western weapons, there will be a well supplyed ukranian insurgency. Think afghanistan but much much worse. That could go on for years. In the mean time russian people starve to death, oligarch lose everything and putins inner circle loses faith in him. How long do you think they will let putin continue an economyc and political suicide run? Russia will win this war, eventually. But they have lost their world superpower status regardless. They will need chinese loans to rebuild any semblance of an economy and we all know what chinese loans mean...

Out dated equipment has a negative value. you still have to pay people to maintain them. You also have to pay shitty russian mutts that do nothing. Their deaths takes away a negative value from their country. Its not that they can afford to lose those vehicles, its beneficial to trash them. No one wants to buy their shit equipment, this is why the US abandons/sells off a shit ton of assets they no longer care about.
honestly i highly doubt the sanctions will do anything besides make their oligarchs richer. This is just more punishment for the lower class as their businesses get bought up by the state/rich during this massive dip.
This is just going to be massive russian suffering for at least another 2 or 3 generations. Personally, i think this was all planned by both russia and the west and they wanted this war to start.
He's going into win because in reality no one gives a shit about Ukraine except for the people who are mad that they can no longer loot it. The hype is going to fizzle out fast. If Russia invaded Poland or Finland then it would be a different story.
