since covid I've not even been able to enjoy a movie because I'm always anxious waiting for the day things are going back to normal but it just keeps getting worse.

Never understood this term. How can capitalism be at its late stage?

People you know and love are gonna die violently in front of you and instead of doing something about it or trying to help them, you’ll probably hide away in a dark corner and hope you don’t meet the same fate so strong is the humans’ instinct for self preservation. Everything you ever knew is coming to an end. Terrible things are gonna happen that none of us have any control over whatsoever, they’re gonna happen whether you agree with them or not. You will disagree with both sides but everything you love and everything you know will die for the ambitions of one or the other and there’s not a single thing you can do to stop it.

Then afterwards, if you survive… things will go back to a “new normal” and things that you saw happen you will be told in no uncertain terms “never happened!”. The things that both sides were fighting for will change with time and any discussion otherwise will become taboo. The past before the war suddenly never existed either and the “new normal” is just what always was.

The comfiness was just a loan, and the bill has come due.

There is no stillness in life. If things are comfy, which they are for you, then they must by default be either progressively getting more comfy over time, or less comfy over time. Being comfy has a limit. Comfy times create weak men, and weak men create uncomfy times.
When it gets uncomfy enough, men will no longer fear to be uncomfy, because uncomfy living will be their standard. Then they will harden, and become stronger, and eventually strive with violence to make the world a comfy place to live. Strong men create comfy times. It's a horrific cycle.

And they will be right. The process of things getting less comfy is that right now is the comfiest young people will ever know, whereas older people have known comfier times to contrast with now.

I believe the comfy is the feeling when all your needs are met. When you were young, they were met, but now that you're responsible for meeting them yourself, they're not and therefore you are not comfy. The solution is to fix yo shit nigga like dayum.
