The Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant was just caught up in the war. If you live close by don't panic. Nothing serious will happen even if they started bombing it.
Nuclear fuel rods do not explode like coal. Nuclear fission is very sensitive and sending a tank shell through a running reactor just ruins the process and would just cause the fission products to rapidly decay. No boom, just a small release of flux and the process shutting down.
It will be very sad if the plant is damaged but it's not a threat to human life. Don't panic, everything will be fine. Unironically. Be safe frens.
