People who think Putin is failing have probably never met a Russian person.
Most Russian people I know are intelligent who are very aware of Western propaganda, and have a much higher degree of self awareness. They understand that a lot of what they're being deprived of now is superficial Western consumerism, and they know they can easily shed that crap, because they know what really matters in Life
Putin lives by these principles also, and that's why most Russians respect him. They don't worship him, they're too smart for that, but they respect him as a leader.
Russia's real economy is actually very solid. Its supported by so much natural resources the world needs, that they wont go hungry for at least 100 years
Their stock market price action is unrelated to their real economy. Only the very wealthy are currently feeling the pain of sanctions, if you can even call it suffering, and its temporary, and they know it, until Russia re-organizes its export industry with trustworthy nations.
I'd love to be living in Russia right now.
As long as you're strong minded and motivated to work, stay away from the vodka and drugs, you can live a pleasant life
