Generally I find that countries that are, shall we say, 'rootless' (post-colonials tend to be a good example) tend to have the worst CoA

If Russia focused on building up its economy and infrastructure until 2100, the EU and NATO would have lost their identities and collapsed by then. Russian politicians just can't understand greater timescales. Only in the 20th century, when technology moved incredibly quickly, did they not think in grand timescales. But kings always thought in terms of generations and centuries. All Russia had to do was be patient, like China. Wait until 2100, when European Unity becomes a thing of the past, and then you can do what you want.
Russia could not defeat the United States and its allies in this century, thats why they needed to think bigger and longer. If the USSR thought in terms of longer time scales, they would have spent all of 1945-2045 rebuilding infrastructure and economical capacity destroyed by the Germans and may have outlasted the US. But no, Vladimir Putin is an impulsive idiot. Russian history is full of them. Impulsive idiots shooting themselves in the foot. Time will tell if China is truly as wise and patient as they think they are. You see, they may be the equal of the US in 2050, but it will take beyond 2100 to be stronger than US, Japan, Australia, and their regional allies combined.
>>European Union to target cryptocurrencies in Russia sanctions >The French Finance Minister has announced the EU will include cryptocurrencies in its sanctions against Moscow, aimed at making them as uncomfortable for Russians as possible. (Reuters) >It comes after reports of a surge in Bitcoin buying in Russia over the last week or two. Coinbase complies and stops services in Russia? Just switch to Binance. That complies? Switch to Kraken, etc. Or better yet just make your own exchange kek

I just feel said for all those people in Eastern Ukraine who didn't want any of this shitshow, never voted for anything of it, were against the Euromaidan and against the Orange Revolution and who are actually the economic backbone of the country. They got fucked over in an eight year civil war.

Nigger just look up the UN Security Meeting and UN General Assembly. In both speeches they say that Russia should seek a peaceful solution and that Ukraines territorial integrity should be upheld.
