I earn $14 an hour after taxes in a qualified aeronautic job. The state takes half of my monthly pay for muh pensions and muh healthcare, then I have to pay a 8% tax on my yearly earnings. I pay a 20% VAT on all products, and I pay 1,8€ for a liter of gas at the pump. Two thirds of that amount are from taxes. One third is the tax on petrol products, and the other third is the VAT.
Everyone is fucking paying taxes, regardless of how much you earn. Even if you don't have a job, you still have to consume to live, so you still pay a VAT on everything, even on electricity, internet, phone subscription.
EVERYONE is paying taxes.
