I don't see that happening anytime soon. I'm pretty sure if Taiwan gets captured, we're going to see a global recession from the market panic it would cause. That would inevitably come back and hurt China as well, which is already experiencing economic issues. I think it's much more likely that they will try a slower, more diplomatic approach. Or they will find some way to convince NATO and other countries to let them have it. Which could be part of what this is.
