But i think this is a perfect example of valid self defense using a gun without even having to fire it, in most cases you don't have to, because not even the dumbest motherfucker wants to get shot if hes beating you up.

yes. the psychological impacts of the mere presence of a gun cannot be ignored. the two images were a major redpill for me on guns and the nature of guns. a massive crowd, if running toward the gunman, could easily overwhelm him with probably zero casualties (taking into account gunman's fear, lack of marksmanship, and the effective attack range of a handgun). running away merely enhances the deadliness of the gun.
the opposite seems to occur with regard to knives. most people are lackadaisical when confronted with a knifeman, when they literally should be running for the hills.
this example gets further bolstered when a rifle appears. running way from a rifleman is like running toward a knifeman.

yeah, people need to be able to defend themselves otherwise nobody want to live there, and it just emboldens criminals to have unarmed peoples. In a country with so many guns most criminals are going to have one and you just becoming a victim if you can't defend yourself.

I also like this example because usually this is how self defense turns out. Without having to fire a single shot the moment they see you have a weapon they usually back off. It's rare that people who have concealed carry even have to fire.. having it enough and them knowing you have it is enough to deter them from pulling a gun on you if they have one too.

And this seems totally lost from conversation about gun control. As i said i live in country with total no guns for civilians except like hunting rifles if you have hunting license. And i understand perfectly rational why one should have concealed carry. I'd never want to not have concealed carry if i live in areas where this shit is likely to happen. i think a lot of it has to do with the perception of knives and guns. most people see the blade and say to themselves "i know where the danger is, therefore i can avoid it"

It's just so funny because i can think of nothing but TV SERIES AND HOLLYWOOD MOVIES that alters people psychologically to be paranoid of guns in general.
USA is a country where your entire history is having guns that you can carry around.. I just find it amazing that a simple thing like exaggerated tv series and hollywood movies can alter an entire peoples perception in such a hysterical and nonsensical way. Everything you see in movies is unrealistic, where they fly backwards through air hit by a bullet, in reality you need to shoot someone several times and they still might be coming at you and still might also live. Knives are actualy more dangerous than bullets. cause it just gut you, bullets just often go right through and are small.
So this is why they don't understand for example rifles who has 20+ rounds or whatever, and they don't understand why do you need that and not just a pistol. The LAST thing you want to do is having to reload when someone attacking you.

This is also why guns are for physically weak individuals ITS THE GREAT EQUALIZER, especially if you women or some kind of small person. Yeah plus when you see a lot of fights, even small people can if they used to fighting like this can easily fuck him up, it's not so much about weight in this regard especially when it's two guys.
They shouldn't be attacking him in first place, and if he attack them back then if he beat them up maybe he get assault charges or some dumb shit.. the quicker can deescalate the better. If they want to fight they can join martial arts club and take it to the octagon or whatever. Not to average streets attacking various peoples cause they like to do so.
