Ok so in the simplest possible terms could someone explain:
>why Russia is invading the Ukraine >what are the significant geopolitical events that led to the invasion >a quick timeline of the events leading up to the invasion >why the West is so opposed to the invasion >why I should or should not be using the term "invasion"
I am surrounded by normies kvetching about why the war is bad and Putin is an evil murderer killing innocent civilians for fun and leisure but not one... ONE person has even a remote understanding of why the events are unfolding (nor do I).
Can someone redpill me or at least explain wtf is going on?
The Ukraine is weak, it's feeble. Putin thought it was time to put the hurt on the Ukraine.
Noah Cook
>>why Russia is invading the Ukraine NATO explansion treatening Russia >what are the significant geopolitical events that led to the invasion 2014 euromaidan installing puppet government sweitching Ukraine from being Russian satellite state to US satellite state The persecution of Russian speaking population in Ukraine in 2014 Crimean "invasion" (Russians basically walking in, telling Ukrainian troops to fuck off and getting greeted and cheered by the locals) Donbass and Luhanks rising up and breaking off from Ukraine US pressing on Russia in general Trump losing the elections to a fucking retard The embarassment of US troops leaving Afganistan >a quick timeline of the events leading up to the invasion Can't do it, but the last straw was Zelensky saying that he wants to return nuclear weapons to Ukraine in case Russia attacks, so it was basically "now or never" >why the West is so opposed to the invasion Ukraine is the only puppet state left that can put any pressure on Russia >why I should or should not be using the term "invasion" Call it whatever, it's basically a military operation to disarmi and pacify a hostile state to us, just keep in mind that Russian tropps try their best to keep civilians alive and not bomb the cities into the stone age

- Russia invades because the prospect of one more wealthy, democratic former Soviet state undermines the legitimacy of his rule in particular and the Russian state in general. - the significant events leading up to it are the economic stagnation of Putin's Russia and the growth and development of wealth and democracy in the now EU aligned former Eastern block. - the West is opposed to it because peace and peaceful development are in our best interest, while arbitrary power exercised by autocratic regimes is not. - call it an invasion if you want. Russian shills and contrarians will no doubt try to refute this, but when you go through my (you)s, try to count their actual arguments. There won't be any

Putin and trump have teamed up to kill nazi and destroy american bio labs in Ukraine. Biden, Obama and Hillary built them with their own hands. The bio labs were actually a front for the NWO to fiddle kids. Once this was is over putin and trump will be leaders of the free world, there will be infinite money, bitches and golden toilet paper.
Look yourself their is over 30 years of history to this.
Ryan Thompson
it's a revival of the old Cold War hostilities, and Russia represents a side which opposes freedom and democracy, if you doubt this then I should remind you that Putin murders and imprisons his political opponents. he does not give a fuck about Ukraine civilians, he just wants Russia's borders to expand westward for the same reason USSR did, because it provides a buffer region against what they view as Western aggression. but the fact remains that Ukraine was a free country and Putin didn't like that, he would much prefer that they suffer under his bootheel because he's a 5'7" seething manlet with a Napoleon complex
Luis Foster
These are lies. Maidan was an organic popular protest, you have no evidence to the contrary. Similarly, NATO has never threatened Russia but exists purely to counter Russian imperialism, which has killed millions of Europeans since 1917.
Josiah Rodriguez
US has built bio labs all around Russia borders and been doing genetic testing trying to develop a bio weapon to kill ruskies. This been going on since 1994
Lincoln Thomas
What is that camo pattern? Is this the inventor of skinny jeans?
Luis Sanders
>Maidan was an organic popular protest It was early on. >Similarly, NATO has never threatened Russia but exists purely to counter Russian imperialism Yeah bro it's totally a coincedence Nato was expanding ever since the 90's when Russia was cucked and wasn't a threat to anyone >you have no evidence to the contrary. Victoria Nuland, Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs of the United States giving away cookies to protesters
>why the West is so opposed to the invasion you don't want to share borders with russia. with ukraine this border was pretty far away from the rest of europe, but if ukraine was russia then it would be right next to the central europe
Easton Anderson
>NATO has never threatened Russia but exists purely to counter Russian imperialism, which has killed millions of Europeans since 1917. You could easily argue the reverse, that Russia's actions are purely to counter European imperialism, which has killed millions of russians since the early 1800s.
Owen Cox
>north atlantic treaty >let's include asian roaches
Gavin Lopez
NATO is a purely defensive alliance which exists to contain an aggressively militaristic Russia, which has invaded each and every single one of their Western neighbors withoit provocation in the last 100 years. The Russians have zero, zero reason to see it as a threat. Calling it that is simply an admission that they plan to invade again.
Eli Reed
What do these countries get for joining nato other than future obligations to go to war for other members?
People like this are allowed to vote, this is literally the best proof that democracy doesnt work
Hunter Nelson
Classic retarded leaf. Can't think by itself, needs information to be spoonfed. You truly are subhuman trash. Anyways...
Russia has Ukraine as a barrier between Russia and the EU, thus Putin doesn't want a strong ukraine, NATO has been provoking Putin by increasing the military presence in Ukraine, something that Putin has been warning about for the past years. Eventually Putin's patience ran out and decided to weaken the country with the excuse of two provinces that want independence from Ukraine, just as it happened with Crimea a few years ago.
That's what's going on in a surface level. Behind the curtains, this greatly benefits the USA in pretty much all fronts, economically the petrodollar gains value that's why you see no action being taken from the supposed global hegemon. Trudeau has barked a bit and if we're lucky enough, Putin will bomb Canada and we'll finally get rid off the leaf plague. Sincerely, kill yourself fucking leaf.
John Moore
No, you can't. Arguing that Tussia is justified in invading its neighbors unprovoked because Napoleon invaded them in 1812 (after they had declared war on Rev. France first) is idiotic. It is irrelevant.
Mason Lee
I'm amazed that you even manage to type with globohomo cock this far down your throat
You know that the burger is telling the truth, don't you? NATO has had a significant military presence in Ukraine, and in case you haven't noticed, bio-warfare is a thing.
Leo Hernandez
There you go.
Owen Evans
>millions of Europeans since 1917
if you're going to shill anti-Russia may as well go back to the Teutonic vs Russia wars of the 13th century
Leo Anderson
>Ukraine is the only puppet state left that can put any pressure on Russia >>pressure on Russia Listen Vlad, you're worried about pressure from Ukraine? Well now the entire world is exerting pressure on you and isolating you from the rest of the globe. You kinda fucked up there.
Jackson Rivera
>follows you around all day with a loaded gun in your face and slashing a knife millimeters from your body repeatedly >purely defensive, nothing offensive about this, no siree
The holodomor alone killed millions. Add to that invasions of Poland, Finland, Romania, Czechoslovakia, Hungary and East Germany. And then add the political dissidents killed or disappeared behind the Iron Curtain.
Dylan Rogers
If Russia put nukes in Mexico what would happen. There you go explained.
Nathan Carter
Again, this can only be seen as a threat if you are actually planning to invade Ukraine in the first place.
Joshua Cooper
Yugoslavia Afganistan Lybia >b-b-but... but that was (((peacekeeping)))! You're really going to compare nuclear weapons/NATO troops right near the border to some economic isolation from globohomo countries?
John Russell
jews (the west) and jews (Russia) are using Ukraine for white genocide, it's pretty simple.
bullshit see: seriously, answer that question, what do you think the US would do if Mexico announced it had allied with Russia and was going to bring Russian nukes to bases right across the border "just in case"? seriously, remove the globohomo cock from your throat and wipe the globohomo cum off your eyes, maybe you'll be able to see and think a bit more clearly
Jason Barnes
Im sorry but it really is complicated
You will have to listen to both sides amd make up your own mind. Also dubt everything they say, since neitger is entirely honest
