US took over Ukraine through secret operations (that are really not so secret). He is taking it back through military means. He tried of 8 years to make sure rhat Ukraine would be neutrally independent, but when they announced they were joining NATO it was clear they were an enemy. There's no real reason for them to be part of NATO, Russia literally told them they can be independent so long as they're neutral. Kike Zelensky chose war.
