A fetus has a realistic expectation of becoming a human being without the need of any sort of intervention. A sperm can only turn into a fetus as a result of human action and agency. Women have the choice to be pregnant, they make that choice the moment they spread their legs.

Why is it so hard for people to accept that abortion represents a weird edge case where our intuitive primers for morality sorta glitch out and that it is not possible to discuss abortion in the same way we discuss whether it's wrong to steal or call someone a bad word? Rather it should make us realize that we completely fucked up elsewhere that we actually have to consider these questions now so that we can change whatever led to this and we never have to seriously consider them again.
