Putin knows Russia would never be able to hold Kiev. He wants to install a pro Russia government. If Jew Zelensky actually gave a shit about Ukrainians (he doesn't) then he's flee to Belgium by now. Putin is practical and all the news media calling him an insane madman are just engaging in pure, high grade copium. A lot of it is demoralizing propaganda too. If he was insane he wouldn't have sent all his junk tanks. People laughing at all the broken tanks are missing the point. Putin ran an economic invasion using outdated technology, accounting for 10-15% of actual capacity and he won. That scares the shit out of NATO. He's rational, and he also knows he can't take Kiev. Putin has been talking about wanting a pro-Russian government for years. He's never had his sights on Kiev.
