You can tell the hospital to put you on a payment plan and tell them you can only pay them like $20.00 per month. Now, you'll be paying them $20.00 per month till the end of time. The other strategy is to just not pay them anything. That's what I did. Also went to the hospital with appendicitis. For the first two months I answered their phone calls and told them I would be happy to work it out. Then one day I was sitting in my office, got the call and told them to eat my whole asshole.
