They are pro Russia but they’re not breeding. Only 3 regions are above replacement level. Chechnya is the only Muslim region still above replacement level and they’re closing in on being below replacement level.
Nenets, a small region with less than 50,000 is also above replacement level.
Russia has been battling its birth rate for a while, it was looking good but then with a couple factors then COVID it crashed down to 1.5. Sadly despite such a low birth rate that means Russia is one of the European nations with the highest birth rates.
