I´ve spent 6 months in India and I also lived in a communist country for a year (Vietnam). India is a lot of fun but it´s also fucking filthy and disgusting and Indians are annoying, constantly trying to scam you somehow. Vietnam is far less filthy (still not exactly clean, mind), the Vietnamese are much more chill and despite it being an authoritarian communist dictatorship, life there was very lax and regulation free. I don´t know if China or Cuba would be the same but if it´s a choice between India and Vietnam, Vietnam is an easy easy pick for me.

You can basically do anything. Alot more day to day freedom than any western countries. Though that might just be a side effect of any less developed country.
I honestly don't know where this crap about communist countries being prisons come from. You can drive your unliscenced bike drunk and tripping on shrooms to the river to fish without a licence and aslong not in major city can just kinda build anywhere and set up your plumbing and electricity, worst case buy the local elder a crate of beer and he'll vouch for you and make the whole thing legal.
Only freedoms you don't get would really only limit those at the very top of society like a big business owner or a politician I guess, but average citizen gets to do whatever the fuck they want.

Cuba is extremely poor, but they are closer to latin-american and western culture. Indian are way filthier and the Cuban girls looks better Imo.
