Over the past year or so (basically during the covid lockdown), I developed a serious obsession with science and with Neil and his charismatic way of speaking. I watched all of the JREs with him. I have the t-shirts. I have the posters. There was even one time (I was feeling very alone) that I did ecstasy and found myself lying in bed, staring a poster with his face on it, we talked and did a kind of therapy. Neil told me that my sad dream about Seabiscuit (horse) meant that I had to give up on my dream of being a race jockey which I had wanted since for a long time, because I am too tall. He is also tall. We talked about the difficulties of being tall. Neil said that if I pray to him, I would maybe get smaller and be able to pursue my dream ... so I set up a votive shrine around the poster and every time I did ecstasy, I would pray to him for hours, but nothing has happened so far. I feel so alone in this big universe, even with Dr. Tyson on my wall. Anyone else here who has developed an obsession?
Kherson is surrounded. The Russians crossed the bridge dam to the north a few days ago and have been surrounding and shelling it ever since. They've taken over the airport as well and are using it as a base. The fall of it is imminent, the mayor has said he will try to hold out until sunrise.
