Russia will soon switch to a gold-backed currency with their ridiculous metal reserves when they hear playing nice with fiat doesn't feed the people no more. Then there will be a false flag and the war will go hot.

Nothing really, it isn't like there's internal hyperinflation going on, Russia is, for the most part, self-sustaining. Forex only matters for international trade.
