What's Different from 2014?

Russia invaded Ukraine 8 years ago. What's different this time that they're being shut out of the global financial system, there are other countries getting involved and there's a real threat of nuclear war? What changed between now and then?

the biggest difference is we're reading the end game in the 4th turning.

u built fo dat bbc wyt boi

The war in 2014 was essentially a civil war. Pro-Russian Ukrainians versus national Ukrainians. Supposedly Russia wasn't directly involved (although they probably were), only supplying weapons to the Pro-Russia forces.

Are you genuinely asking or are you just retarded?

retarded dutchman

the difference is they invaded "ukraine" and now they are invading 'ukraine'

Russians didn’t invade in 2014. It was little green men

>What changed between now and then?
Last time they:
Did it in total surprise, behind the backs of the CIA listening posts
Rheinmetall built a state of the art training facility that trained the Ruskis before they went into Crimea
This time:
The US actually anticipated it
The problem is they've cried wolf so many times with any and everything that nobody bought it until it happened

There is no difference putin just got sick of waiting 8 years for Ukraine to sign the minsk agreement so he decided to put in a new government to sign it

No difference, just another engineered crisis for (((their))) benefit.

yep

both slaughtering slavs, the last non arab/nigger/lgbt/soros infested nations of the white race.

yes I know they have some of each. but not 40-80% of their population like france/germany/uk do. it's well below 5%

sad.

Inb4 all the Fedposts about how this is 50x worse than 2014 in this Fed thread.

They fucked up multiple times but weren't smart enough to realize their fuckups.
1). Crimea.
This antagonized Ukrainians. It was an easy grab for russkies because majority supported them, but the mainland got very wary of russians.
2). No stop at Donbass.
While this was still pro russian after crimea, russia could have just gotten away with it capturing the entire thing. People would forget about it in a day. But nooo, russia wanted more. Which leads to
3). Resistance in Ukraine
Because majority of mainland Ukraine got really mad at russians because of that, they started resisting. Unlike Crimea and Donbass, here you can't just say hello now you are russians and people would agree. This actually meant war.
Their hope was to end war in 2 days because they thought that bit violence vs military and it will crumble the same as Crimea but it didn't. And because war against 1st world european country is something everyone can relate, now the west is forced to immidiately go full hostile mode.

Basically if they got Ukraine in 2 days as they planned nothing would happen.
If they wanted 100% certainity of success they shouldve stopped with donbass.

How is it any different than invading Georgia 14 years ago?

>US installs puppet government in 2014
>Russia installs puppet government in 2022
NOOOOO U CANT DO THAT!!!!!

...

There’s always still Croatia

U have no clue do you nigger?
