Any other preppers in here? I just went to get my first round of supplies. Looking for at least five years of stuff to go in the basement.

I was actually planning on getting some essentials to stock up this week. Shits spiraling towards a war, I can feel it.

Just get a large quantity of something that has an extremely long shelf life, then use it for trade and barter after SHTF.

yeah, went out and bought 40 lbs of rice and about 20 lbs of assorted beans/high protein grains and ordered some mylar bags.
Will double my long term storage foods in weight.
Have a few thousand assorted veggie seeds
To much turmoil not to have any kind of basic preparation.
Still have to pick up sugar and salt, lighters, possibly a bunch of pickling salt as well.

I have a lot more this is just 1 closet.
Biggest regret was buying this canned shit instead of those top of the line prep buckets. I also have about 500lbs of rice and 100lbs of deenz. And some water.
