Dugin thinks you can carve out a Eurasian hyperpower with Russia as the foundation. If you understand Russian history and culture at all you understand how stupid that idea is. They’ve been a motley collection of braindead peasants led by tyrants for their entire 400 year modern history. If you handed them everything Dugin desired in his wettest wet dream they would just squander and eventually lose it. Russia had 90% of Dugins desired borders for the better part of two centuries and they are still a backwards, destitute country borderline irrelevant in every way except that they have nuclear weapons and gas. Good geography cannot overpower a race’s natural inclination towards ignorance, corruption and aggression. Dugin thinks Russia conquering Turkmenistan for instance would make them great because he’s an autistic geographyfag. The truth is if Russia had traded peoples with just about any other European country they would be the envy of the world. Instead they’re the country equivalent of an old prize fighter lying drunk in a ditch.
