Because they don't need to "win" in any traditional sense of the word they just need to draw this shit out for like a month until Russia is forced to leave in shame. Forget about kills for a second and look at all the damage Russia has incurred so far. Every 15 minutes another economic domino falls and Russia moves one step closer to becoming North Korea 2.0. They haven't even taken Kiev yet (which they would need to hold, it's not like you take a city and then everything is fine) and the entire world is going ape shit on their economy. They're going to keep this up for a month? Three months? A year? Ten years?
