Saying what Putin is doing is bad isn't the same as defending Ukraine. Ukraine was an assholes with how it blocked the water to Crimea and are causing a drought there.
Russia is also an asshole with how it is using the same strategy here as in Georgia and spinning all its bullshit lies. We know it wants Ukraine's resources and as border that goes to the mountains. Putin could give a shit about the people in Donbas. He's going to turn that place into a shale oil factory and their tap water is going to be on fire.
