It's interesting that the Russian southern thrust out of Crimea is the most successful one so far. I guess maybe the Ukrainians left the fewest forces there or something, but I would have expected them to mount a stronger defense of the isthmus leading from the peninsula. But who knows, maybe isthmuses do not give the defender much of an advantage these days
