Where I think this is all heading:
Right now, the social media and government platforms have convinced 99.9% of the Western public that A) Russia are the bad guys. B) Ukrainians are heroes C) Russia must be stopped. D) The Russian military is getting exposed as weak and ineffectual. I would estimate that around 50% of the public RIGHT NOW would support US/Nato boots being sent into Ukraine to fight against Russia.
Over the coming weeks, we are going to start hearing talk on these media platforms that "Russia is very weak and close to being defeated. If the US/allies just sent in 'some troops' Russia would easily be toppled in a few days, and then democracy would be truly possible. Think about the babies in the incubators."
At this point, close to 80% of the population will support sending in US/Nato troops to Russia, and then the greenlight will be given, and the US military apparatus (that has nothing going on right now for the first time since the late-1980s), will be on it's way to Russia.
This will be the biggest headfake of all time, as it will lead to an extremely bloody conflict in Ukraine and then eventually inside Russia, with 100,000s of military and civilian causualties.
Assuming you're right for a minute, that could easily backfire with western govts/publics deciding .ua has dealt with it fine themselves so it's no longer needed to intervene
>A) Russia are the bad guys Yeah that's true >B) Ukrainians are heroes Yeah that's pretty true >C) Russia must be stopped True, true >D) The Russian military is getting exposed as weak and ineffectual Yeah, true

When Ukraine inevitably surrenders, remember the seething you are witnessing for the last 4 days. When Any Forums will swear that it didn't fell for psy ops and fakes, remind it and never let it forget. It will be glorious/

Who does your family support in this war? My gf is very pro-Russian, she said that as soon as the U.S Media starts shilling for a certain side - she knows that the other side is the one that's actually in the right.
