If the pro Russian sources are to be believed not only do the Ukraine citizens not care but even the military doesn't really wanna fight. Especially when many are on the eastern side who probably have a Russian relative or friend.

I think the real story is its basically Afghanistan again, the local forces are probably running off or surrendering without a fight. Hence the ghost and snake island stories to stop that kind of narrative from spreading.

Not to give you people any help, but Russia is trying to *not* conduct a US style invasion. They're trying to strike the very tricky sweet spot of exerting pressure on the absolute top of the leadership while bending over backward as much as possible to not hurt civilians, or even Ukrainian military personnel. They want to convert the Ukraine into a Russia-friendly country, not flatten it and then try to hold it against infuriated locals and the mostly intact and furious remnants of the Ukrainian state.

Exactly my point. They can take Kiev, very easily. Put 1 Tsar bomba in the middle and see all resistance vanish. But they haven't taken Kiev because they don't want to kill hohols and destroy the place. They want rid of the kike rodent with as little collateral damage as possible.

The best thing that could happen is if they were able to prove Zelenskyy is not in Kiev and is larping as a tough guy when he's in a west city ready to ditch the country. Then many Ukrainians will simple go fuck it and let the Russians in with no more fighting.

Unfortunately we don't live in a ideal world.

I have not heard anything about power outages at all. Not a single thing. In Iraq it was one of the first things the Americans hit, they wiped out power within hours.

The west got what they wanted, all of those educated professionals working for dirt cheap in their country.
