You just don't understand Slav mentality. Russians may take over whole Ukraine but Ukrainian people will defend no matter what and kill every Russian who enters it. They will surrender only when they are out of ammo. And even then they will fight with whatever they can find. That's it. It's something you may not understand but I do. Personally I don't identify my life with my land and I'd flee anytime but my friends would defend our country. What is more, I have one Ukrainian colleague in work and he literally went back to Ukraine to fight against Russians. Maybe we will never see again but that's it. Ukrainians don't care at this point. They will defend themselves as long as there's ammo. It is pointless war, Putin will win and Ukraine will never forgive Russians. Putin's sick ambition will make many people suffer. Both sides.
