id say that its more of a lesson from afghanistan , they less aglutinated the opposing force the harder it its to focus fire on them , and also man portable missiles for every situation , singers , alaws , etc

tanks had a very very limited use in Afg, so much so that the US Marines doctrine going forward does not involve their use at all.

I do think tanks will make a comeback once point defense systems improve. Shooting down incoming missiles isn't a simple problem but it's not insurmountable either.
But yeah, as-is, it's a massacre. Ukrainians were given a load of British NLAWs and they're just wrecking Russian vehicles, main battle tanks included. They're easy to use, easy to transport and hard to miss with.
You can bet every government is closely watching this fight too. But I think it's also just driving home something everyone should have known by now anyway which is "tanks without infantry support are just fodder".
See that all the time in middle east videos. Some Syrian, Iraqi or whatever tank out by itself, no infantry support in sight, of course it gets blown up.
If Russia had advanced slowly with infantry on foot pushing ahead of tanks in support, Ukraine would have had no chance. Honestly it may be that Russia just doesn't have the money to fund a long operation like that. This was supposed to be a quick grab.
tl;dr: yeah, the "blitzkrieg" doesn't work anymore.
