Everything has a hard counter in the military other than lightly encumbered fighter jets, whose only function is to destroy other jets, and can't do anything else.

That's why people use combined arms. Not every platoon has stingers, and even those that do get countered by tanks with anti missile system.

Everything is integrated. A tank is useless without helicopters to protect them. Helicopters are useless without tanks to protect the airfields. Information is the most important thing. If your units know where the enemy is, if they don't know where you are, you win.

A $1 billion aircraft carrier can be sunk by a $200,000 torpedo, but good luck finding it and being in range of it at the exact moment you intend to shoot at it.
