Ukraine is not Iraq. The average age in Ukraine is 41.5 years old. They have a lower GDP per capita than Venezuela. A third of the population is Russian and most the old folks are nostalgic for the USSR. The fact the west is suggesting turning Ukraine into Iraq as plan B is not going to sit well. Ukrainians won’t be cooperative but they aren’t going to be blowing up busses anytime soon. If NATO doesn’t drop the hammer Putin can realistically succeed.
