PUTIN LOSING LUKASHENKO AS ALLY
wasnt this dude lying his ass off not even a week ago?
He was supposedly on a 4 hour call with Macron.
And given how everything is going for Putin, it wouldn't too surprising if Lukshenko is keeping his option open with the west.
I’m going to laugh if this ends with Belarus invading Russia or joining NATO and all of a sudden invasions are good.
>Belarus invading Russia
i am not a foreign policy expert but i am having difficulty imagining how they would benefit from such a thing?
OH NONONONONO
PUTINBROS
Our glorious alliance of however many people are still sober in Belarus plus Kazakhs plus the Chernozhopy who got BTFO by turkroaches is not looking so hot right now...
I will go as far to say that EU and NATO will tolerate Lukshenko as long as he keeps his country in order with minimal violence. If Russia implodes Belarus will join NATO the next day imho.
Belarus would never be let into NATO in its current state. It would only be let in after Ukraine and after Lukachenko kicks it. It serves no purpose as Ukraine in NATO would leave it as a massive and indefensible bulge in the NATO front line. There is no rush to have them join up.
He's not dumb. Supporting Putin means the rest of Europe will cut any trading contracts. Eastern europeans are not as developed as western ones and they want to ctach up to them. There's reason rest of post-soviet union countries joined NATO and European Union as soon as possible.
And also remember he's not going to live forever, whoever replaces him, and inst just another dictator selected by Russians, will probably opt towards joining EU and joining NATO too.

I see... Would it make sense to snatch them ASAP as puppet states though?
