Its actually the other way around.
Back in the day there was no Judaism, just the faith of Abraham and later the Israelites. At the time Jesus came there were 3 main sects, The Essenes (The only ones native to Judeah), the Sadduccess and the Pharisee (both being not native to Judeah).
The Pharisee are the Edomites (descendent of Amalek which the Israelites were told to genocide and which descent from the Canaanites which worshipped Moloch and such) which previously were forced to convert. However they really liked their old customs which were unlawful and thus they created the Oral Law. You know how in Court a Jew will use semantics, grey areas, loopholes and other pilpul to argue they didnt break a law which they never followed completly ignoring the intent behind the law? The Oral Law of the Pharisee is a guideline on how to do that with the OT Law.
This is the group of people pretty much all quarrels Jesus had was with and they were constantly rebuked for this by him, God himself, for being hypocrites, a brood of Vipers, even the children of the devil. Even their name describes them seperating themselves from the original

So by all means the Pharisee splitted themselves off from the original faith which became known and was continued through Christianity and thus by all practical means was Pre-Christ-Christianity.

This Oral Law of the Pharisee then after a few 100 years got written down in the (Babylonian) Talmud starting what is now known as Judaism. So its not that Christianity is based on Judaism, but that Judaism is a collection of blasphemies and herasies of Christianity

and while probably all of you are aware of the destruction being a sign of Gods anger towards the Jews, I rarely see brought up how the destruction of the temple exposes the Jews as fakes and hypocrites.

But lets start at the beginning. The wages of sin is death which has to be paid in blood, meaning no matter how small our sin it condemns us to death. Now God however gave us a way to redeem ourselves, to show how we are sorry for our deeds, sacrifices. We show we are sorry for our sin by giving up something we value a lot and which is important to us. Livestock being just that, and important source of food we need to survive, which we give up to show we are sorry and to remind us just how costly our sins actually are. These sacrifices, to be done on the altar of God and in front of the ark of the covenant, as well as having many other appointed dates where the priesthood (and noone else) has to bring an offering before it for the sake of all of Israel.

The Jews however eventually figured "why should I obey Gods law when I can just sacrifice to redeem myself?" and so you get to the mentality which declares that they are holy as long as they behead a chicken once a year and wave it over their head.
Instead of obeying the law of not working on Sabbath they invent the "Kosher Light Switch", or the "Eruv" to extend their homes and this way circumvent the law instead of obeying it. Now these are newer practices, but the mentality staid the same.

Essentially, they thought, and think, they dont need Christ to save them from their sin, nor do they need to obey the law, they can just sacrifice their way out of it.
However by then destroying the Temple he made the jews unable to commit the sacrifices and redeem themselves. By their own traditions and oral law they created to claim to be sinless, they are now eternally guilty of every minor sin they ever committed. They had no choice but to accept Christ or declare the whole faith and scripture as illegit or continue as before unable to ever be absolved of their sin, their own created traditions and law eternally condemning them.
The jews, unable to admit their wickedness, blasphemies and hypocracy chose the latter options, making on the spot up some new laws and traditions explaining why they can still sacrifice despite lack of Altar, and thus showed the whole world that they dont care about God, his law, or anything really except for themselves and their traditions that enable them to declare to be better than everyone else

In many cases the bible plays into the narrative of the different pagan myths, in Europe and across the world.

The bible actually doesnt deny the existence of the different gods. It just says that (most of them) they are not good and non of them are to be worshipped as they are below the most high. They are even directly mentioned:

All across the world there are numerous cultures stating how "people" came (down) to them and brought them knowledge and some new crafts and subsequently ruled over them and often there is a direct lineage claimed from these "gods" on which they claim their ruleship.
Now the Book of Enoch says exactly that, the fallen angels came to earth, they shared knowledge which in turn corrupted us. And they mated with our women. Here the account from Genesis:

Additionally to all this we have different stories of the (fallen) angels relate to that of the different gods, Michael for example correlates heavily with Jupiter/Zeus/Thor/Baal Haddad, Lucifer correlates with that of quetzacoatl of the aztecs and prometheus and somewhat Enki. Satan, which likely is Lucifer after the fall correlates with Moloch and Cronus. Gabriel I believe could be Mercury which is Hermes and seen as equal of Thoth

First I went and looked up exactly how the afterlife is described in OT and NT, which is like the following:

This is what people think off when they think of hell, but this isnt eternal torture either.

So on this we can assume that both, Sheol and Hades are the same thing and merely different language on the same thing. This both is what the KJV calls hell. However from this follows that Hell is not eternal but only lasts until Judgement Day.
As such the story, if I got everything right goes like this:
Eventualy shit will get really bad and God comes in to BTFO evil. Then the faithful are ressurected becoming the leaders and priests in his 1000 year kingdom. After this reign Hades will give their dead up, the 2.ressurection, and they will be judged according to their hearts (Romans 2:14-16) Then Hades and death are thrown into the lake of fire as well as anyone not in the book of life (meaning that Hades, death as well as the one judged to be too evil getting destroyed, the second death). Then a new Earth and Heaven Will be made (Revelation 21) and everyone lived happily ever after.

The eternal punishment is reserved for Satan, the false prophet, the beast and those that took its mark and worshipped it
>9And they marched across the broad expanse of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. But fire came down from heavena and consumed them. 10And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, into which the beast and the false prophet had already been thrown. So there is Sheol/Hades to await judgement, Gehenna where judgement happens at the second ressurection and the soul destroyed, and the eternal torment

For the same reason the pacifistic and passive version of Christianity that commonly taught everyhwere is contrary to all that is preached. All throughout the OT God punished the evil and discplined them, Jesus chased out the money changers from the Temple and in the end will destroy all evil.
You need to view the sermon on the mount from Gods perspective. We constantly sin against him, insult and anger him, if he wouldnt turn the other cheek we would be long gone.

If I constantly take revenge in the name of justice the family/friends will avange him for which your people will avenge yourself back and will continue to do so until eternity.
The only way to break this cycle is to make a sacrifice of yourself and forgive, forsake your rightful claim for the sake of starting an improvement. Eye for an eye will leave the whole world blind.
We should never act out of anger or hatred, but that does not mean to completely forsake punishment.

We can only forgive and turn the other cheek if we are the ones who are transgressed, only then we can forsake the punishment for the sake of mercy. If someone is about to murder another, you are in no position to forgive the murder and as such are required to take action
