Probably but why?

Sure but why would they? Free wifi.

No, they're about the size of a lawn mower. Too small to target

They might... but Starlink has about 2.000 satellites in orbit. I am not sure it would be efficient nor effective.

For the Russians Starlink is useless. They already have communication devices. Not to mention that they have their own communication devices that they bring to war.

s500 rockets are not orbital

Another question that pops in my mind... That would be a direct attack to a US company. Would that be considered an international attack on the US?

well it's not going to happen because it's physically impossible and russia has no incentive to deny ukrainians internet in the first place

True. Also i wonder what happens if/when Uk govt is replaced, will the sanctions spread? Will they kick Ukraine from Swift too?

Didn't the Russians take down Ukraine's internet in some areas in the first place?

>attack US space assets
>US activates Article 5
That's the last thing Russia wants right now.

Ukraine doesnt own any spy satelites. If Russia attacks the ones they use (US and others) it would trigger article 5.

Aren't they privately owned?

>NATO has taken collective defence measures on several occasions, including in response to the situation in Syria and the Russian attack on Ukraine.
So this has already happened, right?

Yes. So was the Twin Towers.

They hit the pentagon too, which were grounds for article 5 in 9/11, however, the US could easily claim defense capabilities of any US satelite.

This is going to create widespread access to actual footage in Ukraine.

Who benefits?

No, article 5 has not been triggered in this war.

No provably cruise missiles can though

How do you use starlink anyways
Let's say all you have is a globophone (eg. android)

>Globohomo IoT grid
>NOOO, NOT MY HECKIN WIFIERINOS
