Why is war so poorly documented

It’s been two days and I have no idea what’s happening.. Each side is making outlandish claims but we have no updated map, no videos, no accurate combat reports and don’t even know where battles are being fought, who controls what, or who is winning.. All this in an age where every man, woman, and child has a smartphone..

What the actual heck is going on?

I will not show tits, do not ask me

Welcome to theater

Watch the movie "Wag the Dog" to understand the truth behind this "war".

Have you never heard "loose lips sink ships"? In an information war, control of information is obviously crucial. Muddy the waters enough, and useful idiots won't be able to derail your strats.

Okay boomer

alice in cunnyland

this is called the fog of war, very common. normally you will not know what happens in a war until a stalemate occurs or a victor wins out and rewrites history. sometimes a third party enters and reports accurately, in this case you need something like an independent on the ground journalist embedded with the ukranians or the russians who is neither from america or from russia.

if you wait 2-3 weeks and come back to it you will have a clearer narrative.

american journalists are usually excellent at covering wars they are not involved in, eg the conflict between azerbaijan and armenia

where the turks and russians were fighting a proxy war, but the americans didn't get heavily involved so pbs covered it fairly, or as fair as you will get short of an independent person doing it for patreon bucks.

posting from a warzone will get you killed. I know youre a zoomer post 2020 colonist, but /sg/ actually called in an airstrike based on some ISIS tweets. there's also a big media blackout going on, twitter has banned russian IPs so we only are getting the hohol side of things. Given that president jon stuart has started arming civs, we can assume the situation is pretty dire in keeeev

You should be aware that in war the truth is the first thing to go. Fog of war sets in and information becomes less trustworthy because the chain of evidence for epistemologically valuable truths is intentionally routed. You must learn how to parse it yourself. Do not come back for more answers. I'm only giving you time because we've already seen you, there's no need to tits or gtfo you. Whatever. Avoid media, focus on the ground.

Take off every zig.

no one wants to see your moobs tranny

Because the world doesn't deserve the truth, it deserves the propaganda until a victor emerges, who will then lay their claims on how it all went. Besides, you are not anybody important to know how the war is going.

Psychological warfare is part of the physical war. This is how it's always been.

turns out fifth generation warfare is the absolute gayest of its kind.

How can one rewrite history otherwise?

Nigger, in the second Iraq War they had ABC news crews livestreaming to the world during the invasion into Baghdad.
I watched a tank crew fire point blank into a dump truck full of RPG wielding morons that tried to charge them. Live. On the Boomer news. The news crew was literally sitting on top of the fucking tank broadcasting that shit.

I AM GOING TO ALICE!

War is documented by winners.

Jews winning

its almost like the country those media stations were from was the one invading. ask russia why theres no comprehensive coverage. imagine what would happen if we sent our our american media to suby. the burden is on russia to provide coverage. they are invading.

Russian troops are forbidden from having smartphones so no footage from them
Ukrainians are losing so most of the footage is either small fights they're won having a couple of dead Russians or civilians filming
