The Ukrainian civil defense forces have used them to good effect. Just seen a vid on twatter showing Ukrainians frying two Russian armored vehicles with molotovs.

When making Molotovs mix in some styrofoam to make the mixture gel like, try to hit engine air intakes.
Molotov cocktails would surely be even more useless for tanks. Pressure cooker bombs and Molotov cocktails would only really be good for infantry. Teach Ukrainians how to make thermite sticky charges to disable tanks.
Though now that I think of it making Molotov cocktails is a lot more safer than making TATP. Also I don’t think anyone wants to have to clean up a bunch of unexploded IED’s after this is all over.

ANFO is around 94% ammonium nitrate (in prills, fertilizer) and 6% of some kind of fuel oil (diesel is ok to use). Some Al powder can be added to make the mixture more sensitive. Needs a primary+booster to detonate.

When making Molotovs, make sure to plug the hole well. Otherwise you could pour the fuel on yourself when throwing and set yourself a blaze

Moltovs used tactically and in multiplicity work great against almost anything. If you use a proper napalm mixture of gasoline and latex or polystyrene or something; and get several thrown onto the cameras and windows of the tank then they can’t see. Also aim under the tanks and by the rear where the air intakes are and they will melt the air filters and fill the thing with smoke and eventually compromise the engine.
They don’t work instantly, they’re intended to slow them down and stall them. Your trying to get the crews to open the hatches so you can then throw more inside or shoot in.

Not at all. That’s what most of the IEDs used in the Middle East were. You just have to plan ahead and they to cripple vehicles in the lead to stall the convoy.
