Indicators that Putin has gone insane

1.) Putin started a large scale invasion which will annihilate Russia economically and politically and does not care about his fellow Russians that likely will suffer from it
2.) Putin captured Chernobyl nuclear power plant, which is of little tactical or strategic value for his campaign. Only two motivations are possible, both pointing at him being unhinged: First, he could have felt the need to do it because he thought Zelenskyy might blow it up in retaliation which would make Putin paranoid and disconnected from reality; and second, he might have captured Chernobyl as to install a doomsday option, rigging Reactor 4 with explosives, either to contaminate Ukraine's groundwater or to contaminate the entirety of Western Europe, both motivations would imply his insanity. Any lesser reason for the caputure of Chernobyl would also imply severe deficiencies in his decision-making
3.) Putin threatened countries interfering in his war of aggression with the quote: "[...] whoever tries to stand in our way or create threats for our country … people should know Russia’s response will be immediate and lead you to consequences you have never encountered in your history", which can only be read as an open threat of a nuclear first strike
4.) Finnish President Sauli Niinistö noted that he witnessed change in Putin's recent behavior
5.) French President Emmanuel Macron after talking to Putin, separated by a 15-foot table, said that this was not the same Putin he had last met at the Elysée palace in December 2019 and that Putin was "more rigid, more isolated" and was off on an "ideological and security drift"
6.) Putin forwarded an ominous threat via Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova to Finland and Sweden in case they should decide to join NATO, citing they would face "military consequences"
7.) Former NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen stated on Feb 23: "[...] I wouldn't exclude the possibility that Putin has gone crazy."
