I'm asking for sincere reasons. Homosexuality hurts no one. Why should you, or a government, dictate whether someone fucks guys or girls? And globalism is just recognizing the whole of humanity is more important than petty national feuds and tribalism.
If globalism is used as a euphemism for "corporate executives exploiting cheap labor in foreign countries", then of course I don't support that. But this very board is a great example of globalism: people come together from all over the world to share ideas and see each other's inherent humanity transcend their nationality.

The problem people have with homosexuality is that if they let someone be their authentic self and be seen as an individual, a subject instead of an object that has to answer to no one but one self, others will start to demand to be treated the same. White men would rather die than accept homosexuality because then they would at some point be asked to also treat black/brown people, women, disabled people, poor people and so on as if they actually see them as human beings worthy of respect and dignity. And since you can‘t use, abuse and exploit subjects as profitable as objects, they will fight to their death for their right to keep telling others what they can and can‘t do even if it makes no sense and is only for the sake of keeping their privileg to have power over someone else. They are afraid that they can only get their needs met if they demand or manipulate others into giving them what they want. Ultimately, it boils down to them believing that they aren‘t worth having their needs met just because and that that‘s something you have to force people to do.
