What objectives other than the crimean canal re-opening have been achieved? Why is lavrov offering talks?
>Russia is fighting a 1970s era war against a small but early 2000s era enemy. >Russia is utterly incapable. Ukrainians resisted hybrid warfare and forced conventional conflict. Their doctrine does not fit modern warfare’s objectives >The longer Ukraine survives the worse it looks >The fucking French conventional army would mop the floor with Russia by the look of this. The Russians cannot fight a modern war and their bullying capability is limited, and would be ineffective against NATO’s air power alone d-do people forget it took the US a month to push Iraq out of Kuwait? An Iraq that had a shattered shell of an army and that was no where near Ukrainian capabilities?
I thought the Redditor obsession with movies was played up for memes, this is really absurd

Russians have only VDV near Kiev and that in Bucha and Gostomel around the airport.
This was in Kiev. There are report that Russians are in Opollon district, but that is most likely false since there is no airdrop or land arrival to there. Draw your conclusion
i just did a preview edit on the wikipedia page of top aces

Some fag in jewbook was actually saying that it was a total failure that Russia couldn't take everything in less than a day, four a 35M country and very extensive. I don't know where people logical thinking went since 2012.

reddit is so fucking cringe

>The fucking French conventional army would mop the floor with Russia by the look of this This is true though. The Russians are showing their ineptitude continuously through the conflict. They're better than the Ukrainians for sure, but they're still repeating the same kind of retarded maneuvers they did in Chechnya. Just driving down open roads in tight columns. A single machine gunner could fuck up their day, a couple AT mines could stop their movement entirely. twitter.com/GirkinGirkin/status/1497129210015625218
To "Rus" something, in Finnish means to fuck up something. Seems all the Eastern Slavs are a like in that manner.
Why the fuck these bastards always find a way to shit on France, we have at least second best land army in the EU and thousands of soldiers constantly deployed in war zones. Fucking americans... I only wish we would make alliance with Putin.

If Finland applies for NATO will it be the next invaded country?

Timur died while he was on his way to China and he never managed to invade China.
Timur i Lang (Tamerlame) invaded the Middle East after his invasion of India. He slaughtered, tortured and raped his own co-religionist Sunni Muslims across Iraq and Syria. Timur's Tatar (Turco-Mongol Central Asian) Sunni soldiers gang raped Sunni Arab women and virgins girls of Iraq and Syria in their own mosques.
This is the story of horror that the Turco Mongol conqueror Timur inflicted upon the Sunni Muslim Arabs of Baghdad, Aleppo and Damascus. His soldiers gang raped girls while their brothers and fathers were tortured and forced to watch in the mosques.
They say the descendants of his Turco-Mongol soldiers are found among the Sunni Arab populations of those places today due to the amount of virgin girls that were violated. Iraqi Arabs are the rape children of Timur.
All Arab women were violated and raped by Turks, Mongols, Ethiopians, Persians, Armenians etc.
Ok I see, as I actually expected. Bjt is there any sort of massive bombings of cities ongoing right now or Russians are doing the things clean ?
Josiah Reyes
maybe they'd fight differently against a NATO member?
Brody Adams
they even created a wikipedia entry lol. wonder how will they posthumously award people that are alive and well in russian captivity.

Yeah, it's only been two days and they're probably not showing their full potential. Why would you show the west your latest tactics and technology in action when you don't need to
>based on spotty information, half of which isn't even true from 1.5 days of fighting I have a comprehensive analysis of russian tactics and progress and the reasons behind that progress or lack thereof
You mean here? Here yes but I see them more in outer/pol/ Also 2 days ago there were at least two russians for hours here

This is literally it.

The strategy for wars is to claim you've killed a lot more people than you have during the war to give an illusion of victory and after the war, you push for the 6 gorrilion narrative to position yourself as the victim. Right?
Russia is much more restrained then it should be. I believe Putler muh avoid casualties can backfire. Although since Ukranian cattle are passive cucks, that took it in the ass since 91 consecutively, I don't expect local insurgency, which is what Russia is also counting on.
We will see. Not a single modern missile (latest are Kalibr) were used, not a single drone, not a serious EW was used.

One thing I will enjoy is the death of FB and traditional media. Everything is on Tik Tok now.
Why would they? The units are trained in a certain one, have certain SOPs and that's how they'll fight no matter really who they're against. It's not really feasible to maintain multiple different doctrines actively in a unit. They would have to go through extensive retraining and many officers and NCOs would need to be replaced with fresh blood. See Stalin's purges for example, where he got rid of the old blood, who wouldn't fight a modern war. It's similar to how the US military right now is completely geared to fight unconventionals, leaving them completely inept against modern, mechanized enemies, since none of their officers and NCOs have the required basics drilled into them. They need retraining.

Benny Hill-tier comedy. The Russians smartly made clear markings on their vehicles, yet that's not good enough for xoxols to stop killing each other. The random car getting flattened is the cherry on top.

"They are directly responsible for the genocide in the Donbas": Putin - about the fight against nationalist formations in Ukraine
>Vladimir Putin, speaking at the meeting of the Security Council, highly appreciated the actions of the Russian military in the course of special operation in Ukraine.
>The head of state stressed that the main clashes during the operation in Ukraine are not taking place with regular Ukrainian troops, but with nationalist formations that are introduced into parts of the Armed Forces.
>The Russian leader stressed that these associations are directly responsible for the genocide in the Donbas.

>If Finland applies for NATO will it be the next invaded country? No? Russia wouldn't invade territory that is under NATO. It would be a silly move to do and Putin will get his ass kicked by Boris Johnson, Schuls and Kamala Harris

The ghost of Kiyjv has joined forces with the spectre of Kharkiv and the spooky skeleton of Lviv to enforce a no-fly zone above all of Russia and Belarus. It's over Putlerbros, we got too cocky...

>the genocide in the Donbas entirely made up. it (if you can even call it an "it") never happened
there is a grace period before Article 5 applies to them,so definitely Russia would invade
Adam Flores
>same kind of retarded maneuvers they did in Chechnya. Just driving down open roads in tight columns. And how do fingolians move around large ground forces, by teleporting them or you first build a wall around the road so it's not "open"?

>Just driving down open roads in tight columns Is that the tooth or tail? The logistics tail and artillery (often with some escort) does travel fast on roads in tight columns. That is pretty normal. At least when considering how many troops there are at the frontlines that they are supporting.
As far as I can tell they use scout units (mainly tanks with air support) to spot areas of resistance. When they encounter resistance they fight and get quick (immediate) reinforcements. Sometimes backing up and establishing a frontline.
A part of the unit continues for a flanking maneuver and artillery is active in very short notice.
The problems the Russians have faced is when they don't encounter resistance and just keep going (like north of Kharkiv and villages around Sumy). That is when Ukrainians manage to damage the tails and their escorts. But due to the amount of troops Russia has there they just regroup and make a frontline pocket around the point of contact with the logistics units moving around the pocket.
Warfare in cities etc is avoided (As we see in Sumy, Kharkiv, Mariopol, Kiev, Kherson etc) unless they are mobilized fully for an attack that is supported by air and artillery.
IMO they have adapted their strategy well for this conflict. In Scandinavia, (due to most of our roads being in deep woodland), I would expect them to naturally be more careful. Roads in Ukraine are open compared to our homelands. So it is easy to clear the area visually in Ukraine.
In Scandinavia we would see a somewhat different strategy but with the same principles.
fingolians will just scatter in a nearby forest and wait there untili the enemy froze to death

France announced the possibility of sending more weapons to ukraine. So what will Russia do? It makes no sense now for them to allow anyone to send more weapons to ukraine, and if they do, attacking them right on the spot could mean serious escalation
Bucha is about 5km away from the Obolon district of Kyiv, I can honestly see how they could have got there undetected considering they were wearing UKR uniforms and such. Is this reasoning wrong?
