Do you believe that there's an objective meaning to our existence? I believe that there's life after death and I believe in the existence of heaven and hell and believing these beliefs gives me peace. I'm not saved from judgment and eternal torment through my works but through the finished work of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ that's why I have peace.

Spiritual death not death of the flesh/corruption. Spiritual death is wages of sin or the separation from our Holy God. When our faith is in Jesus and not in ourselves we wouldn't go through spiritual death or shame/guilt/condemnation when we unwillingly fall into the sins of our flesh.

I believe Eden is symbolical to a place where the divine and the natural meet. God has nothing to gain from our obedience. He wants us to obey Him for our own sake or for the well-being of our souls because He loves. Religion will make us want to believe that God needs anything from us.

I believe that the suffering in this life is good because it draws us to the true meaning of life and the purpose of our existence in this world which is to know the One true God through Jesus Christ. I also believe we choose our destiny, like if a person wants to be saved do you think God will turn that person away?
