Both work
It is. It's literally psycholinguistic doublethink.
The west is embarassing. I watch italian news and cringe hard, i am ashamed of what I am and of my people, so ignorants they rely on italian fake news outlets because majority of italy (around 80%) can't real english so they are spoonfed by the italian jews
For me, it's Kyev.
It was Kyiv since Ruthenia timed
Kiova
for me its Kaev
for me, it's Keef
For me it's Kiou
That's unironically also kind of correct, with leaning towards Belarusian
how is it pronounced?
them Bitches love Sosa
i hear Kybab
If we're starting to call cities and countries by what they use, we should be say Rossiya, right? And Deutschland and Nippon?
It's spelled Kiev traditionally in English at least. The Ukraine has specifically declared Kyiv to be the write spelling (presumably it transliterates better from Cyrillic). Journalists and governments use it because it's consider the "official" spelling.
the whole thing's quite retarded
Kijów
It's always been Koom
>Kyiv
how do you even spell that?
ok, Kiev, right.
Next they'll want us to start using Turkiye.
The English Language has used "Kiev" for over 200 years.
It has never used "Kyiv" until the Western Coup in Ukraine in 2014. Western ZOG is going hard to craft a narrative which paints Ukrainians and Russians as historical, linguistic, and ethnic aliens. Some idiot Ukie nationalists don't realise they're being played (by successive jewish presidents mind you), are buying into all of it, and are pushing the new term onto English speakers
let me blow your fucking mind, the city of Bangalore is called "Bengaluru" in India.
Cologne is actually called Köln.
Many such cases.
>presumably it transliterates better from Cyrillic
It doesn't. Kiev is closer.
Ukrainian pronounciation instead of Russian.
>Faroe Islands
