In it he gives clear justifications as to why he thinks Ukraine is run by those attempting to rape the country for its resources and how corruption has run rife in that state - even making concessions that Russia has a problem with corruption too.
He gives exact historical dates and context as to why he believes the company is illegitemate, and the thorough threat of them joining NATO that could potentially mean a hypersonic missile staged from Ukraine could hit Moscow in five minutes.

I'm pretty retarded and I have no real capability to confirm or deny his take on history and why this is important. But he seemed absolutely thorough and sincere as to why he needed to invade and how this was the last straw to get the West to pay attention. This 'Putin is a madman' narrative just seems lazy.

I feel terrible for the Ukranian people of course, but why is no one discussing this speech Ukraine gave? Why does the news and Biden dismiss it as hysterical? It struck me as incredibly informative and even rational.

he just sounds as full of shit as Trump quite frankly.

>Oh people of Ukraine, you poor dears
>Your leaders are shit at best and more likely literal nazis intentionally misleading you
>As a friend, Russia can not just stand by and let you be brainwashed into russophobia, so we will be bombing you and toppling your government
>We super-duper promise that unlike every other time this has happened in our shared history, this time we have your best interests at heart and don't just want our turn at the glory hole

If you believe that this is true because Putin said it, you also believe that the Kulaks had it coming because Stalin said so.

Ukranians aren’t people

The full formerly secret doc from 1991 that turned up at the British Museum, which proved that Russia was totally right about the Western promise not to expand NATO beyond the borders of Germany and the Elbe River
sscnet.ucla.edu/polisci/faculty/trachtenberg/cv/19910307.pdf

Document is report of meeting held in Bonn on 6 March 1991 involving the USA, UK, Germany and France, discussing security in Central and Eastern Europe.

For the German Foreign Ministry, Ambassador Jurgen Chrobog:
>We had made it clear during the 2+4 negotiations that we would not extend NATO beyond the Elbe. We could not therefore offer membership of NATO to Poland and the others.
For the UK Foreign Office, Sir John Weston:
>We could not offer East Europeans Membership or Associate Membership of NATO.
For the US Dept of State, Assistant Secretary Raymond Seitz:
>We had made it clear to the Soviet Union in the 2+4 and in other exchanges, that we would not take advantage of Soviet withdrawal from Eastern Europe. Nato should not be extended, formally or informally, to the east.

It's on C-SPAN and RT, youtube isn't the only video streaming site in the world.

this is the kind of lazy counter op is referring to

the west needs to step up their rhetoric game instead of just say "nuh uh"

I hope putin dies

>but why is no one discussing this speech Ukraine gave?
Because the western media outlets never ever show any of his speeches. They usually just cut a few seconds from it, and then spin an entire narrative of their own arround that - completely ignoring everything he basically said. It's one of the reasons we're in this mess.

if he keeps it up, he will be taken out by the cia

putin thinks ukraine is his.
So ukraine is like a room in his house, and it's full of rats shitting and pissing on everything. and putin can't do anything about it.
So he invades to clean it up.

Putin is insane. he is obsessed with Ukraine.

This war is so manufactured.

Biden says hes open to letting ukraine in nato knowing this will cause russia to chimp out. russia will either fully take it over or sign an uneasy ceasefire. both will accomplish russias goals of preventing nato membership, even if ukraine survives nato wont let it in to prevent ww3. end result is ukraine is sacrificed and russia greatly weakened. biden gets a win without firing a shot.

im thinking putin got played here.

People need understand that life is about perspective he could be sincere and wrong at the same time in his mind may truly belive it..
