The fact is the two largest powers (Russia and China) are extremely cozy with each other and are increasingly so.
Russia and China are working arm in arm to take down the US hegemony, which is understandable because that's what rival powers do to each other. The point is that if you don't want to see the US hegemony collapse then both of these powers need to be tackled head on. Biden is a very weak POTUS though which is also why this is happening now. If Russia somehow doesn't get BTFO (unlikely by the looks of it) then China will annex Taiwan soon too as a result of this.

at the moment,Kharkiv and Donbass are the only tough places as Russian sources say. Donbass forces are gonna move towards Kiev. And Kharkiv is occupied by harcore nazis with lots of fighting experience who use locals and their buildings as a shield. It's in everyone's interest that it would end in the shortest time possible with least number of casualities in both sides (except for the ideological nazis).
Ukrainian government has no bounds towards the lands they leech from. They would move to the western countries (to their relatives in Israel or the US) without hesitation.
