Give me a based movie to watch pol

So far I have enjoyed Troy.
Julius Caesar.
300.

This movie never got a proper release because it was poorly received at some faggy film festival.
It’s a conspiracy type movie.

Probably a bad time to post.

Thanks for the suggestion, any European history ones that I may have missed out on?

Any film from Andrei Tarkovsky.

Have you watched HBO’s Rome?
It’s a TV show though.

There Will Be Blood
The Game - Michael Douglas
Heat
Hacksaw Ridge

The thin red line

Zulu. Old, but gold.

Barry lyndon

Tons. Watch Kingdom of Heaven.

No user

Watched that user, agree

Stalingrad (1993!!!)
Das Boot
both one of my favorite films about WW2
they are very heavy, realistic and based on actual events and not us propaganda.

Might watch this one.

Watch it, it’s great.
Unfortunately the show was canceled early on so they skip over some stuff.
It’s only 2 seasons.

Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World

I know a bourbon slugging Métis man whose favorite film is Das Boot.

There’s no ((diversity)) in it?
I enjoyed Spartacus, as I felt they didn’t overdo it.

Best movie. It was overshadowed by the third LOTR film in 2003. All male ensemble. Females only act as extras in one scene and they just wave basically.

Really good show.
Caesar was fucking perfect and the 2 main soldier characters were really fucking good.

Cleopatra has a tan, that’s about it.

Brave heart
The Last Kingdom
Dances With Wolves
The Last Samurai
North and South (1985) mini series
Gods bad Generals
Gladiator
Gone with the Wind
Rush

It's good. There's a bit of 'diversity', but its about the crusades so obviously Muslims are part of the story. They represent them fairly for the time of Saladin I think though.

Great depiction of that era overall. Because Orlando bloom stars there is a romance, but the politics and war dominate the film.

Based movie.

Watch Rome but since you're into dad movies, Gladiator is great

Might go with this, for today.
Thank you anons.

No problem. Make sure to find the Director's Cut. It has almost an extra hour of film, some of the better parts.

Gladiator

Den of Thieves

First half of Quo Vadis.

>Dances With Wolves
excellent film. that and Last of the Mohicans are the best depictions of colonial America I can find.

*Best depictions of the white man interacting with Injuns, I should say since those movies take place more than two centuries apart kek

Cold Mountain, Master and Commander, Gladiator, Gettysburg, Donnie Darko, Drive, Rewatch Lord of the Rings.

This. Rome is really good.

This one

The 13th warrior is based beyond belief. Trust me it’ll change your life.

Check out “Turn: Washingtons Spies” it is a pretty solid portrayal of the period. Also, classic Westerns with John Wayne, Clint Eastwood, etc.

Really gay movie that promotes boy love and (((evolution))). Stay away OP.
