The flag flown at an embassy is akin to a joke. A strip of cloth which people paint on ideologies and laws in addition to colors. A meaningless joke. The flag of america, or of gays, or of russia are all utterly worthless representations of the same ideology - a life with personal liberty and the pursuit of happiness. To criticize the flag somebody flies is akin to criticizing the color of somebody's bath towels.
