What can Ukraine learn from Based Chechens?

10k Chechen fighters held off an invading Russian army of 100k soldiers. Russia had more men, heavy weaponry, and complete air superiority. They still got demoralized and were sent back home. The Chechens proved that the invaded are more motivated than the invaders.

The Chechen war also exemplifies how heavy weaponry and air superiority are limited in an urban warfare environment. If Russia couldn't defeat a country with less than 1.5 million people, how does Putin invade a country of 40+ million people without being wholly defeated and humiliated?

>forgetting the second war where russia steamrolled them
stop living in the past you dumb boomer.
why always boomers make such dumb retarded cattle nigger tier posts?

This is actually a valid point OP. In a sea of big titty threads. But yeah it is precisely why Putin made major military reforms as well after the conflict. But yeah all things considered it makes sense, he has no desire to invade Kyiv. All his actions point to controlling the separatist backed regions and MAYBE at most trying to make a land corridor to Crimea.

>retard american post
The Russians lost the first Chechen war because the country had just collapsed 3 years ago and the military had no structure or modern equipment, plus Yeltsin didn't care and the generals didn't care.

Modern Russia is completely different, you can see a clear evolution in the professionalism of the Russian military from the first chechen war to the second to the georgian war to Crimea/Syria.

The modern Russian army could destroy the Ukrainian army without even touching foot on Ukrainian soil

Calm down, Ivan.

The 2nd Chechen War is different, because the 2nd time around the Chechens were the primary instigators. They essentially did what the Russians are doing now by infiltrating into Dagestan and starting the conflict. Unlike the first time around, Chechens were also fighting against fellow Chechen militias.

Either way, the point still stands. Russia got bogged down by a small army of Chechen fighters for years. If they attempt a large scale invasion of Ukraine, they will be fully humiliated and ultimately defeated.

that was in 1994 and is in no way relevant today boomer.

The Ukranians have far better weapons than the Chechens had as well though.

they will get artillery striked and bombed from the air. then ground troops will mop up the rest in cauldrons. Ukraine has literally zero chance of winning this.

You have no idea what you are talking about

The war was waged by obligatory service 18 year olds who were getting sold out by their gov. On top of that country was in complete shit after ussr collapse. Despite all that they waged war as good as they could

Actually, it was 30k.
Russian Federation in the begging invade Grozny with the 15k troops. 10k came out later. And that's practically all.

It doesn’t, Chechenya is a mountainous region, Ukraine is a plain. Chechens got bunch of outside Muslim country support and recruits, Ukraine won’t get shit. Chechens are proud people with history and traditions, Ukrainians are just a Russian dialect

he's just going full suicidal russian mode at this point

>shouting ALLAHU ACKBAR while firing an rpg
I thought these guys were slavs not sand niggers. Glad Russia btfo them in round 2.

That's why they've moved on to cyber warfare. Look how many Americans starting simping for Putin because they saw a couple "Russia is...LE BASED" memes on Any Forums. That's all it takes to turn once proud patriots into traitorous cucks. They're been doing in Ukraine too. If they've decided that now is the time to invade, it's because Ukrainians are demoralized and unwilling to fight.

Those guys are caucasus people. They are neither slavs or sandniggers. Dumb muttsharter.

retard. look at georgia. that's what will happen to ukraine.

whatever zog shill

Having two regions that pretend they are independent but are only recognized by russia? Yeah, I think your right.

>have mountains and the high ground
>underdeveloped region, perfect for gorilla warfare

no wonder chechens could resist for so long. ukraine is divided, there is no geographical advantage for the defender. you really cant compare those 2

Kek and true. still not fighting to legalize buttsex in Ukraine at the request of a government that hates me. Try harder zogtard.

>because the 2nd time around the Chechens were the primary instigators.
The Russians false flagged with that apartment, you fucking shill.

2nd one was much different, Chechens lost a lot of manpower and the country was destabilized. Dozens of warlords were in power instead of a unifying country like in the first war.

Ok Vlad...arguing that Yelstin and the Generals didn't care is disingenuous. They cared enough to mobilize nearly 100k troops and fairly significant resources.

Even though weaponry is much more modern since the 1990s, Russia had an overwhelming advantage in every facet of the war compared to the Chechens: firepower, heavy weaponry, airpower etc. They still were not able to win because guerilla warfare, especially in an urban setting, limits those advantages.

Yes, the modern Russian army has made significant strides since the 1990s and they would easily destroy Ukraine if the aim wasn't to actually invade. But an invasion would look different and it would be messy, especially if they make a move on Kyiv.
