I am not a supporter of Putin, but his position on Ukraine is absolutely adequate. There is simply nothing to object about. Russia has always been friendly to Ukraine, has always been an open, fraternal and friendly country. Since the collapse of the USSR, Russia has always helped Ukraine: benefits, preferences, resources sold cheaper than other countries, gave profitable loans. Russia treated Ukraine as a brotherly country. And how did Ukraine repay? By the fact that it wanted to join NATO, a military organization whose entire raison d'etre is aimed at confronting first the eastern social bloc, and then Russia. This is a real betrayal, this is a stab in the back. Why did Ukraine want American military bases on the border with Russia? Why are they ready to place in their country American weapons directed exclusively against Russia? Further, why was it necessary to indulge the Ukrainian nationalists? There are no more than 20% of the population there (concentrated mainly in the western regions, the former Galicia), who do not want to have anything to do with the "Muscovites". The remaining 80% of the population of Ukraine are for friendship and partnership with Russia. It was a stupid political mistake to ban the Russian language (which 80% of Ukraine speaks and thinks). In fact, they wanted to carry out a forced Ukrainianization of the entire PRO-Russian population. They wanted to deprive millions of Russians of their native language and culture, tear them from their roots and record them in a new state that did not even have a history and original culture. Therefore, the alienation of the territories of Ukraine is quite natural. Natural and justified. It is a pity that everything turns out this way, God sees the Russian people do not want this fratricidal war, but we are left with no choice. I hope this war will be as humane as possible in relation to Ukrainian soldiers.
