Neoliberalism, which is really just free market capitalism, has raised the standard of living and quality of life for more people on this planet than any other political/economic system in recorded history. Most of today's current problems are actually caused by a decrease in neoliberal policies and the concentration of wealth and power in the hands of centralized governments and their corporate/financial counterparts (or masters).
