How Did The Confederacy Lose The War?

Was the Union just more enlightened and smarter at war? They didn't have the slave power that the south had, and yet somehow they won the war.

Quantity has a quality of its own.

pretty sure yanks had the south heavily outnumbered in manpower and even had severe riots due to the sheer amount of people they were drafting into the war
>only people that americans can beat in a land war are other americans, but only if they outnumber them and zerg rush them
top zozzle

Because the right fucking sucks at fighting.

What does this even mean?

The South kicked the North's ass on honorable terms for several years. Then Sherman decided to win the war by burning every farmstead they came across. You know... literal war crimes.

>smaller population
>smaller army
>shittier navy
>complete blockade
>smaller economy
>less developed industry
>like almost half of the inhabitants were farm equipment
The real question is how the fuck did it resist for 4 years

Northern army was basically a foreign legion. They advertised in Europe and promised them land in the South, so all kinds of adventurers heeded the call.

If the Confederates were traitors, so were the American Revolutionaries for flouting the laws of Parliament.

CSA tried to fight a conventional war instead of just exhausting the union’s population to the idea of war over time

try reading it again carefully, i know that a niggerblooded african like yourself might struggle with the english language, but if you give it a real effort i think you can do it
i believe in you!

Southerner slave owners were generally Democrats, but let's not worry about that.

>slave power
niggers are a drag on society user
once you've got machines, slaves were a problem no an asset
Sadly the Liberia project was not completed

robert e lee did nothing wrong

It doesn't make any sense. You literally said nothing in that statement.

Blame Britain we hypocritically refused to support the south even though it was in our interests.

Correct.
A few other disadvantages they had were
>individual state governments in the Confed' cooperated less efficiently, leading to things like equipment and stores hoarding, limited weapons commonality and supply problems
>scattered, distributed rail network developed to move cotton/tobacco/cane sugar from the rural areas and plantations to the ports for shipment, rather than linking cities as strategic points/transport hubs

wow, thats dirty

>Be northern army
>Go to fight backwards hicks in the south that have less troops and no industrial capability
>Lose every battle
>Start drafting hundreds of thousands of niggers and oirish
>Still get your asses kicked repeatedly
>Begin targeting civilians instead of military
>Claim victory after burning every building in sight and starving the local population

Why didn't the British support slavery?

83% of white males aged 18-22 lived in union states while only 17% lived in confed. states. The union also used black soldiers, something the confed. refused to do until the very, very end (black confeds never saw combat. they were being trained when things ended)

They probably could have if Gettysburg had gone the other way and Stonewall didn't die. The war was losing popularity in the North, just look at NYC's response to the draft. If the Confederacy could have stayed in Northern territory longer it likely would have crushed any lingering popular sentiment to keeping up the fight.
What really spelled the end was Grant and Sherman deciding that the way to win the war was simply to destroy any will to fight. They did this by leveling cities and accepting that they could win the war of attrition because of the huge manpower advantage.

Why should black people fight for slavery?

Because the north attacked civilians and infrastructure, being more willing to commit war crimes.

The union was illegal
>the convention of 1787 was ordered to revise articles of confederation
>convention of 1787 delegates conspired to throw out articles altogether
>required absolute secrecy so as to hide from the public their coup
>some delegates left the illegal convention in protest
>wanted to replace true federal system with nationalist system
>centralize power into fewer hands
>didn't trust democracy or the people to administer their own affairs
>creditors, merchants, lawyers and military composed this conspiracy
>convention stipulates that constitution is effective if 9 states support it
>direct contradiction of the unanimous consent required in articles of confederation
>articles of confederation also prohibit any states from forming their own alliances without unanimous consent of congress
>conspirators of 1787 ignited this entirely, knew they couldn't get unanimous consent

The constitution is an illegal document, ratified illegally, and is the birth certificate of a two hundred year old conspiracy against the United States of America which are independent and sovereign states joined in a league of friendship

Stop supporting the constitution. Learn some history.

IIRC they were literally going to free them if they served.
