Technically the law prevents you from being discriminated against, this includes medical history. But the cool thing about laws is that have to be enforced to actually do anything and since no one gives a shit, it doesn’t matter that the law technically protects you. Take, for example, the case made against Brad Hazzard. The judge explicitly recognised the vaccine mandate as coercion and would thus prevent valid consent which is a requirement for vaccination. But, because the judge didn’t give a shit and the mandate was only over a specific period of time, nothing happened and the mandate went through anyway.
TL;DR laws are useless without enforcement and the capacity to commit violence to enforce them.
