So, I was in the mall today eating lunch (I'm a black guy, early 20s) and some black man came walking in my direction. I moved my bag away to the other side, and he continued on. Two white girls were sitting at the table across, one of them pointed at me and whispered "that guy's racist." to which her friend replied "he's black."
Whats the point of this odd anecdote? Well it makes me wonder about what is considered racist today, in modern politics and society. Is this really common amongst white people, to think that such a thing is racist?
